Description
The Silver Rose was only built in 1988 and was a result of Porsche’s highly successful Turbo Cup, an F1 supporting race series. The race cars had their power uprated and this power increase was passed onto the road cars giving them 250bhp and the Turbo S badge and distinctive Silver Rose metallic paint.
Among the other specifications for this highly collectable 944 were the Studio plaid cloth interior, a nod to past higher performance Porsches.
Though other paint options became available later in 1988, it is believed that there were only 77 right-hand drive Silver Rose cars were delivered to the UK.
