Matching number, this MGB built in early 1963 spent 30 years in California. Re-imported to the UK by a historic vehicle specialist, it underwent a RHD transformation, a major overhaul and preparation for historic rallies. Its previous owner kept it for 14 years and I have owned it for 5 years. It has an FIA passport (to be updated) valid until 2025. This MGB is reliable, fast and efficient, very pleasant to drive and eligible to take part in major motoring events (Tour Auto, etc.). Interchangeable with convertible (VW Cox) or sports car (Porsche 914/ Boxster/ Peugeot 205 GTI/ Lotus Elise/...). Iris Blue with factory hard top, rally equipment (FIA roll bar, harness, footrest, circuit breaker, fire extinguisher, Brantz tripod, Lucas long doors, 72-spoke wheels, Lita motorbike steering wheel), mechanical preparation (1840 balanced engine, Piper 270 camshaft, large valves, factory fan, Zircotec exhaust manifold, banjo bridge and drive shaft).
