The body paint shows a uniform shade and the varnish a superb shine. After a professional polish performed by our workshop with an orbital polisher, we noted a small scratch at the top of the right front door (1 cm) and three small dents at the top of the right front wing. The chrome bumpers and their bumper guards are in good condition and correctly aligned. The rear bumper shows surface oxidation. The grille and the driver’s door moulding show a few small dings. This example is equipped with several interesting vintage accessories such as plexiglass headlight bubbles, leather bonnet straps, and the chrome boot badge (luggage rack) in perfect condition. The simulated leather black hood cover is in good display condition. Its installation is easy and its seal is in line with period standards. This example is equipped with a simulated leather black hood cover. This presents a homogeneous patina from use. The 4 chrome-painted 14’’ wire wheels and their chrome knock-ons are in very good condition, with no edge damage or deformation. The UNIROYAL tyres show 40% wear front and 30% wear rear. This example has retained its spare wheel and its original jack. Among the notable “Body/ Exterior” equipment and options included with this car we note: the 4 14’’ wire wheels with chrome knock-ons, the plexiglass headlight bubbles, and the chrome boot badge. Interior: The interior is in good display condition. The simulated leather Black upholstery with matching piping shows a homogeneous patina. The headrests in black simulated leather are in good condition. The door panels are in very good condition, with no signs of water ingress or sagging. The dashboard and its cap are in good display condition. We noted a small nick on the passenger side of the dashboard. The SMITHS instrument cluster is fully functional. The MG leather three-spoke steering wheel is also in good condition and shows a uniform patina. The Bakelite gear knob is in good condition. The stainless steel door sills are also in very good condition. The carpets in Black are in good condition, with no major wear or fading. Among the notable interior equipment and options this example has: headrests, three-spoke MG leather steering wheel, and the central armrest. Chassis: The inspection confirms a solid tub, with no visible accident damage or apparent structural corrosion. Fundamentals: sills, floors, lower wings, wheel arches and longitudinals are in good condition. Usable reserve: in principle we cannot guarantee these elements beyond their good visual and functional condition validated during the road test and the inspection. During the dynamic test, we detected no abnormal noise from the body or running gear (driveline joints, bushings...). Braking is balanced, with no vibrations or abnormal noises.
