The Land Rover Wolf 110 is a medium military vehicle based on the Land Rover Defender. The Wolf was tested, rejected, upgraded, and tested again before the MoD was satisfied. It is far stronger and more reliable than the Land Rover Defender on which it was based. It has a full-time four-wheel drive transmission with a manual gearbox and is powered by a Land Rover 300 TDI engine.
It features a heavy-duty suspension and modified chassis to withstand heavy weapons loads, as well as equipment and personnel. The Land Rover Wolf also benefits from modified upgraded brakes and a 24V electrical system as standard.
