1954 MG TF 1250 convertible, Finished in bright red with red interior. Original built as a right hand drive car for the Australian market and imported back to UK in 2002. This car has clearly benefitted from spending much of its early life in warmer climates. It is a real credit to its owner. This car has been beautifully restored to a very high standard. The car has had a total body restoration with all bodywork taken back to bare metal and resprayed, new bumpers were fitted and all chrome re-plated. Mechanically the car is a joy to drive and has recently had the gearbox stripped and rebuilt. In addition to routine maintenance the car has benefited from various improvements, the radiator re-cored, new dynamo, distributor re-bushed and serviced. new exhaust system, brakes including shoes, cylinders and brake pipes, handbrake cables, fuel pump and fuel lines and a completely new wiring loom. The car is complete with chrome wire wheels, chrome luggage rack, hood, side screens and tonneau cover in black and a red indoor car cover. Complete with full history file which includes many invoices. Bought in 2014 as my dream car and for the last 10 years have had much pleasure whether driving or admiring.
