1974 MGB Roadster Rally Car
Prepared to Historic Road/ Regularity Rally specification
The car was supplied by Rally Preparation Services (RPS) - they acquired the car for their own use in Historic Road/ Regularity rallies. The previous owner - prior to RPS - spent over £5, 000 on preparing the car for rallying and the car has been looked after to a very high standard. Technical work was done by Willow Triumph in Darlington.
The current mileage of 80, 350 is potentially genuine as recorded on MOT history.
Current MOT until November 2024.
The engine was given a thorough check over in September 2019 and converted to Pertronix electronic ignition - the distributor and carburettors were removed and overhauled. It runs on E5 fuel, starts easily and pulls strongly.
The car has had a very good respray - probably in the early 2000s - and has also been fully Waxoyled including the inner sills.
History file from 2011.
