Here we present a very, very nice example of the popular T-bird, this one from 1958!
Delicious in Regattablue with matching two-tone interior in blue and white!
352 cc engine with 4 port carburettor of 300 hp. Cruise-O-Matic automatic that runs very nicely!
Equipped with the following: Spoke rims.
Power steering. Servo brakes. Electric lifts. Electric top. Electric seat. Black canvas cab. Body dress-up chrome kit. Withe wall's tires. Modern model adapted retro stereo.
Imported from California in 2000, purchased by current owner in 2006 who drove it a lot in its original condition!
So the starting point here was a very real, well-functioning car with a very nice body which has now received the renovation / refinement that was required to make it the fantastically nice car it is today!
The renovation took place between the years 2018 to 2020 and is done in a very meritorious and thorough manner!
The car was almost stainless and rusted only in 10 x 10 cm under the back seat, right side. Right threshold slightly rusted.
Painted loosely in parts on an empty body.
New carpet. New canvas cab. All rubber strips replaced. New radiator package. Newly renovated vacuum dryer motor. Refurbished control valve for the power steering. New stainless exhaust system. All chrome is re-chromed. Blank parts straightened and polished.
Engine and gearbox have been out and are painted and ready.
Rear axle has been loose and painted and mounted with new bushing kit. Refurbished front carriage. Undercarriage rust-protected. Extra sound dampening mats in coupe and luggage!
Undercarriage / details are so nice, painted and arranged in a pedantic way!
Yes, you can go on and count what has been done for a long time, an "operation" like this entails much more than you think....
This car is one of the last 1958 Thunderbirds, when this car was manufactured on September 12 and 1959 production started on September 17.
The car costs SEK 495. 000, which corresponds to about 43. 200 Euro.
