This 1972 Ford Gran Torino was bought brand new by its first owner of 45 years from Star Hickey Ford incorporated in October 1972 Mr Robinson on purchasing the car then exported the car to Hawaii where he lived and there it remained in his ownership until his passing, it was then sold by his daughter to a gentleman in Scotland , on purchasing the car he went about checking that everything was in working order , which included fitting new brakes suspension parts new windscreen tyres carb etc. etc. This ensuring the car was 100% reliable I bought the car 2Yrs ago, having driven it home 250 miles from Glasgow to Manchester it returned 20mpg , the car still is 100% percent reliable rot free and very comfortable to drive , as you will see from the photo's very sun bleached but totally up to a new owner to keep original or with a new paint job would make it stunning, there are a couple of minor dents but the majority of panel are absolutely laser straight . A couple of friends have driven the car and cannot believe the quality of drive for a 50 yr old car, interior is very god but the sun has cracked the dash which is now covered.
