1967 Ford Mustang Fastback 390 V8 GT S-Code Manual. Finished in Highland Green with a black interior, this genuine factory 390 is a restored example that retains the character and specification which make the big-block GT’s one of the most desirable Mustangs of the era.
Finished in Highland Green, the colour which became forever associated with the Mustang GT driven by Steve McQueen in the film Bullitt, and remains one of the most sought-after Mustangs in the world. This example is complemented by a black interior and sits on American Racing Torq Thrust wheels with black centres. Further specification includes power steering, front disc brakes, upgraded Auto Meter gauges, an upgraded DAB radio, sports deck fold down rear seat and the correct GT fuel cap.
Under the bonnet, the 390 GT V8 is presented in a clean and tidy engine bay, featuring correct-style chrome 390 GT valve covers and matching air cleaner assembly. The four-speed manual transmission remains an important part of the car’s appeal and delivers the engaging driving experience expected of a genuine big-block Mustang.
The underside presents well, with solid floor pans, chassis rails and a tidy rear axle assembly, reflecting the restoration work carried out during the car’s life.
