For sale is this No. 1 of 1000 worldwide 2015 triumph Bonneville T214 limited edition motorcycle.
Very rare opportunity here.
This bike needs little introduction amongst enthusiasts, but the Limited Edition Bonneville T214 celebrates the achievements of Texas-born racer Johnny Allen, and his record-breaking Triumph-powered Cee-Gar streamliner which, in 1956, set the first of many land speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats by recording a two-way average of 214. 4mph.
Coming from part of an extensive motorcycle collection and being dry stored since 2017. It’s a one owner from new bike.
It’s covered 4228 miles from new and was only used during the first 2 years in the summer times before being put up as piece of art inside his house with other bikes and memorabilia.
To look at he bike you would think the mileage was zero! It’s literally like brand new condition and is definitely collector museum worthy.
The bike comes with hand books , service booklet with 2 stamps from a Triumph authorised dealer, x2 keys , some receipts and the most important item , The certificate stating it’s no. 1 of 1000 worldwide . I’m surprised Triumph don’t have the bike in their collection.
I’m selling the bike on behalf of my client due him thinning down his collection under his wife’s instructions.
When I received the bike, knowing it had sat in a collection for some time. I set about the process of recommissioning it.
I removed the tank and cleaned it out. I replaced the fuel pump system which is internal, along with the filter/ strainer and the internal wiring , with a designated kit specifically for the Bonneville. (mainly as a precaution due from experience of handling bikes and cars that have sat for some time) . It’s also just has a brand new battery.
The oils were checked and are golden , with the correct levels , brake fluid checked along with clutch adjustment.
We put fresh super-unleaded in bike, and it fired right up as i expected it would, being a modern bike with an injection system.
Since the recommission Iv ridden the bike on a private estate around 5 miles on various test runs with periods of time idling also, and she runs perfect. No warning lights on the clocks, no unusual noises , just amazing tech in this bike.
Loads of power and torque, a lot more delivery than carb model bonnevilles.
This is truly very clean and probably the best example available, along with being No. 1 in the world.
Overall a great edition to anyone’s collection and a very rare opportunity to acquire this very very rare bike.
