1965 cafe racer Austin mini. Fantastic fun to drive. Less than a 500 miles since full nut and bolt restoration and build. Selling to fund restoration of another mini.
I've owned the mini since 2010 and it's been a long term project of part collecting and then restoration
Shell
1965 mini shell in great condition, no rust, correct sills, professional restoration and paint in smoke grey with old English white roof (correct bmc paint codes)
Fia spec seat base frames installed by Rightline motorsport (prepare cars in mini miglia championship)
Varley red top battery
Single fuel tank with Facet silver fuel pump and filter
Correct dated wiper motor, ignition key barrel, horn etc
Engine/ bay
The engine was built by Phil Anning of Anning race and restoration. Phil worked as an engine builder for decades at swiftune and this is the 1st engine he built under his own company so carries the engine number build number 1. The engine was built with no expense spared and the spec enables it to be very drivable but still exciting. It pulls from 1000rpm cleanly all the way to 7500rpm. The engine was tuned and run in on the KAD dyno and produced 119bhp at the crank. The engine has always been run with air filters
