1978 Chevrolet Monza 2+2 2. 5L - a project which I sadly don’t have time for! Last driven on the road in 2019, it has Belgian registration but all documents are included for importing into any country you may be in (the car is currently at my home in Normandy, France).
It has 47, 000 miles on the clock, she’s a very rare “Medium Green” with green interior (in very good condition) and green tinted glass, very original, the only aftermarket piece is the wooden steering wheel.
There is rust on the door bottoms and in the rear wheel arches (only in the outer skin, the inner arch is solid as is the floor).
The 2. 5L original 4 cylinder engine potentially has a timing issue that I can’t fix/ haven’t had the time to fix. I’m not a mechanic just an enthusiast, so I’m sure it is a simple fix with the right tools and knowledge. She starts and drives, but after a while she can backfire - this could be a fuel flow issue as the Carburettor has vacuum control, and due to its age it likely has a lot of perished hoses.
