Italian-registered example with a valid revisione until April 2028
Reportedly in sound structural order - unusual for the model
The Appeal
The Gamma Coupé is one of those rare instances when a car can rightfully be considered art. Produced during a high-point in Lancia design, it was a wonderful grand tourer and certainly among the most elegant cars ever produced. Styled by Pininfarina, its crisp, elegant lines remain striking to this day, while the characterful flat-four engine lends it a mechanical personality quite unlike its contemporaries.
That said, longevity and corrosion prevention wasn't exactly the Gamma's forte, so finding a well-kept original example is a rare thing indeed.
Increasingly appreciated by collectors, original survivors are becoming harder to find. This 1979 example, finished in metallic blue, is presented as just such a survivor. The vendor states that the car has never been restored and retains its originality throughout.
The paintwork is described as being in good order, though some areas of surface corrosion are visible in the photographs. Inside, the vendor describes the upholstery and trim as being in very good preserved condition. Mechanically, the car starts and is drivable, though having been standing for a number of years, a thorough recommissioning of the engine, running gear, and electrical system is advised.IMG_8930.JPG9.31 MB
