I am advertising this Silver Shadow 1 on behalf of my father in law who has owned it since around 2004/ 5 ish. It was owned before that by his mother in laws now deceased husband who used it on nice days and weddings including our familys. It has been kept covered in a warm, dry garage at that address for probably 25+ years that I know of.
The car is silver metallic over blue leather and is in good condition for a car of its age and mileage.
There is some small bubbling to the top of a couple of the doors, but it's not bad and hasn't broken through. The colour has started to come off on the usual wear points, but that's about it. Oh, and it could do with a detail but I will try and do this if I can, weather and days off permitting.
The car generally runs well, and as far as I know everything works. I have plenty of pictures and a video of the car running and driving but if you want specific photos I will happily send them.
The only reason for sale is lack of use having only covered about 25k since the mid 80s The last MoT was around 2017, but is now MoT exempt.
I know this has been along time coming but the desicion has been made that this very elegant classic needs a new home. The car comes with Mots dating back to around 2006 and two stamped service books. It also has a number of old tax discs.
There may be more, I will have a look as soon as I can but for now take it that's everything. Although the original owners manuals can be bought cheaply online. The main thing is the service books are there.
During his ownership my father in law has serviced the car himself with the help of a family member who's a mechanic.
