I've owned this car since Feb 2009, and it has been my pride and joy. It's been maintained regardless of cost, I had a new soft top hand made in 2017 using a stronger material than the original. The local garage has always carefully maintained her. The alloys have been professionally powder coated around 4 years ago, the bodywork has been maintained to a high standard. I have all service invoices and work since I've owned the car. It has recently had a new exhaust and fuel feeder pipe. The electric hood is fully operational, all electric windows working, no warning lights on the dashboard. Three keys and V5 present.
The car was manufactured 1997. GLC Autos in Swansea imported the vehicle from Japan in February 2008, and I bought it from them. According to the log book I am the second owner. The car has never let me down, always started first time and has always run well.
Unfortunately it failed the last MOT on corrosion affecting nearside and offside front (inner and outer sills), and ABS ring is cracked. For more details please go to Gov MOT check.
The garage advised that this work could be done, but I am no longer in a position to afford additional work. The "major" structural work listed in "background" was welding undertaken on the rear underside of the vehicle.
I'll be very sad to see this car go and am hoping it will go to someone who would enjoy getting her back on the road. Currently SORN and would need to be trailered to her new home, even though she is mechanically driveable. There are some age-related marks but the overall condition of the bodywork is fine, considering she's 27 years old. I'm a non-smoker so no unpleasant smells in the interior.
