This car has been in my ownership since 1990 when i purchased it as a rust free project. At the time i needed all the panels and mechanics for another JH I was restoring.
At this point i decided to start the build of the car we have here today. I used my knowledge learnt in professionally building sportscars for circuit racing , and having, at the time, a fully equiped workshop and bodyshop around me always helped!
Jensen Healey , running 1. 8 Mazda MX5 TURBO Engine , ME221 engine management, 5 speed gearbox and MX5 suspension and brakes, power steering etc.
The mechanics and drivetrain have been carefully and skillfully installed . This is not a car built by a Muppet, it's been carefully thought out and constructed.
Now Extensively recommissioned after far too many dry years of little use.
The bodyshell is structurally excellent and original, with fibreglass lightweight wings, boot and bonnet. Comes with 17" wheels and a spare set of 14" alloys
Fortune spent:- Recon turbo, overhauled engine including thermostat conversion and Cometic thick head gasket, new clutch, new discs and pads, new adjustable height dampers, custom wood dash, central locking, dab cd radio , leather seats, rollover bar, super quality soft top)
Well sorted, handles and drives very well
A real one off, which is why I built it!
