The Jaguar MK IV is one of the most iconic models in the history of the British car brand Jaguar, produced between 1945 and 1949.
After the hardships of World War II, the goal of the Jaguar MK IV was to restore and enhance Jaguar’s brand image by creating a luxury car. Aimed at the affluent market, the MK IV had to compete with other luxury brands such as Rolls-Royce and Bentley and serve as a foundation for future Jaguar models. The model offered advanced technologies that confirmed Jaguar’s position as a leading manufacturer of high-quality vehicles.
Today, a Jaguar MK IV is a rare commodity. Our example is one of these rarities. Of the original left-hand drive Jaguar MK IV 3. 5 liter models, only 376 were produced between 1947 and 1948.
Fortunately, has a beautiful example in the Clubhuys: an original Belgian model that has been meticulously maintained. Both technically and visually, it is in excellent condition, with the 6-cylinder inline engine having been overhauled in 2007.
