This car according to a neighbour of a previous owner had been dormant for over 25 years. When I got it none of the systems worked . So I put it back on the road last year. A previous owner had done the welding. Sills , floors etc. but had not painted them. So I slapped some Hammerite on the underside for protection.
Once it was re-built I discovered that the gearbox needs replacing. Jumps out of 2nd on deceleration. Also I suspect that the carb throttle shafts need replacing.
However , it drives very well with spot on oil pressure.
I replaced a whole pile of things and fitted a later type heater box.
The body work has blemishes but the car is structually sound.
As you can see , I have too many cars , so the Midget is going.
A re-furbished gearbox will be included in the sale.
