Description
My beautiful Charleston 2CV needs a new chassis. It’s always been kept in a garage so the body work is in reasonable condition. It needs a good service and the 2CV Centre, where it is at the moment, has given it a full appraisal.
Sadly I’m selling it because I need a second car that both my husband and I can drive ( he cannot cope with the gear stick! ) so I’m hoping to pass it on to someone who will give it a new lease of life.
It does not have a MOT because it needs a new Chassis. I bought it new in 1987 and it’s been my much loved sports car ever since. It is the classic Maroon/ black of the Charleston which I think is the most stylish of all 2CVs.
We took it to the 16th international 2cV rally in Kelso where 3000 2CVs gathered - an amazing occasion to see so many and variety of the same car. We travelled up the west coast and then returned down the east coast - a great trip. I will miss it!
