1972 4 door saloon 1300L, MOT until July 2025
I purchased the vehicle in August 2019 from a dealer after the car had £9000 spent of it. The doors were removed to respray the body and doors. The engine was removed to detail it. The following are some of the parts that were replaced, dynamo, 4 tyres, lock kit, battery, steering pack, new key set, 4 brake cylinders.
Both front wheel bearings replaced as has the rear exhaust box.
The interior is original and has the original non-intertia seat belts.
3 Former keepersThis was my first trip into owning a classic car. I could not afford an RS2000 at the time but wanted an escort and this provided a way into reliving my earlier ownership of one. It still attracts attention and I am constantly stopped by people who want to talk about it as they owned one or learnt to drive in one.
