This car has been cherished and preserved above and beyond its whole life. It was previously owned by an older gentleman for 8 years, who bought it off his close friend, whom which both kept it stored in a heated garage whilst only using the car on summer days, explaining its incredible originality and low mileage of 75k! With loads of paperwork and invoices, it’s very hard to find a genuine example of a MK1 like this, in an untouched and unrestored condition as immaculate as this!
Bodywork wise, the car is completely rust free. Both rear arches have all original spot welds all the way around, proving the car has never been welded and never been rusty like the majority of examples! The Sills are completely immaculate with no signs of even any surface rust, which is the same scenario for the front wings. The paintwork is in amazing condition, with only a few age related scratches here a there, but overall its as good as it gets for an original 31 year old car! The interior is also in perfect condition, with no damage to any trim at all, with the singular modification on this example being the Nardi Steering Wheel, which very much improves the drivability of the car!
The car runs and drives absolutely perfectly, with absolutely nothing to fault at all, as expected for such a low mileage and well cherished car!
