Classic MGA MK1 Roadster. Stunning looking car presented in the original colour of Old English White with nicely patinad red leather interior. Full wet weather gear with black hood and tonneau, and new side screens fashioned in the original style. The car is in excellent condition and drives beautifully, recreating the thrilling driving experience of the 1950's. I have owned this car for over 15 years and have enjoyed every moment of it. I have kept everything as original as possible refurbishing parts rather than having them replaced by cheaper after market spares. I really like the MK 1's as they have the small and tidy light cluster at the rear rather than the unsightly and cluttered look of the MK 2's.
The car was originally shipped to California and then repatriated back to the UK in 1989. From then a 10 year nut and bolt restoration, bare metal respray and converted to RHD. Previous owners have been Mark Danes, a renowned classic car specialist from Devon. More recently the MGA has had new king pins, new batteries, master cylinder and distributor refurbishment.
I have a whole file of paperwork and receipts and over 15 years of knowledge of this car. I have some new projects in the pipeline so its time to let her go to someone else who will cherish and enjoy her as much as me.
