We have the pleasure of offering this very appealing 1959 MGA 1500 Cabriolet, one of the most iconic British roadsters of its era.
British icon of the 1950s, the MGA marked a real stylistic break for MG with its low, fluid and distinctly sporty lines, directly inspired by the world of competition. Even today, it remains a reference for open-top driving pleasure, with that particular charm unique to the great English cars of the post-war era.
Our example presents itself in an elegant Orient Red colour, paired with a black leather interior with red piping, a colour combination that is particularly successful and perfectly suited to the spirit of the car. Since 2007, it has had only two owners.
It is powered by its 4-cylinder 1, 489 cm³ engine, paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox replaced in 2018, as well as the master cylinder for brakes and clutch. Recently serviced by a specialist, this MGA also benefits from a front disc brake kit with assisted braking, delivering a real gain in ease of use and safety.
The overall presentation of the car is excellent, with bodywork, chrome and the black leather interior in very good condition. It is supplied with its black PVC hood, its tonneau cover and its two side screens, all elements that ideally complement this example.
