Description
Open to offers. This 1947 MG YA in Lincoln Green and British Racing Green bodywork (subtly contrasting wings), over a beautiful unrestored patinated cream and tan interior. MG’s trusty 1, 250cc four-cylinder engine.
Owned since the mid-1990s right up to recently by one owner, ‘XSL 395’ has had just five previous owners in its 77 years on the road. It had a rebuilt engine some years ago, with 16, 000 miles indicated on the odometer. Just nicely run in and any rebuilding teething issues sorted out by now. The MG has also had its brakes serviced, and the light bulbs replaced by LEDs. ‘XSL 395’ has been used for touring on the continent, particularly in France, and on the Channel Islands, and used for weddings in the past. It is offered with a large folder of paperwork, including original owner’s books, and tool-kit. Bodywork has been resprayed in 2023 in period correct cellulose and given ceramic treatment.
The car is priced to sell and I am open to offers that result in a quick sale. Part exchange of Pre War or similar classic needing extensive work possible. Cash either way for example Rolls Royce 20/ 25 etc. Car has now been moved to London. Well maintained, original leather interior, cleaned, loved and used. Something you can use carefully and bring back to this condition. It is listed as an imported. This is a mistake, I have no evidence of it being imported or not either way. Sorry for any confusion..
