Relative low mileage, just short of 113, 000 miles, MOT’d till march 25, I’ve owned the vehicle since 2013 and used daily until SORN. Still insured so could be driven if taxed, I bought this vehicle from the popular teen soap/ TV program Hollyoaks, receipt to prove purchase from production company (if I can find it). This has been a great car for the 10+ years I’ve owned it, but having to many vehicles it’s becoming a struggle to maintain.
Good bits Drives really well, and if taxed and insured would drive away. Great interior apart from drivers seat, no cracks in the dash and a great headlining. Not been modified, body, interior or engine Solid good 1. 8 carb engine (not injected) Powder coated rear axel (replacement).
Bad bits Will need some welding on the footwells (front wheel splash). Both front ball joints may need replacing (slight knocking over bumps) easy to replace full wishbone £120 for the pair. Slight leak into the boot. Slight oil leak from crank casing, never bothered me as always kept topped up when in use. Original steel wheels will be put back on the vehicle as the ones currently on are from my Mk1 golf.
