After 10 years of fun and adventure, we’ve made the difficult decision to look for a new home for our gorgeous late bay Dormobile, Gina. We are simply not getting out and about in her as much as she’d like!
Built in 1979 (one of the last to come off the production line) and registered in March 1980, she’s RHD, has a more powerful 2. 0 ltr VW Type 4 engine, more comfortable full width rock-n-roll bed (2-berth van) and, with a Dormobile pop-top, plenty of head room and light!
She is in truly lovely condition with just one minor area of micro-bubbling on the bodywork and some small areas of micro-bubbling on the bumpers (see photographs). Otherwise, the bodywork is pristine.
Full bare metal body restoration carried out in 2014 with paintwork maintained in excellent order ever since - supporting invoices and photographs available
Bespoke interior built and installed by Vantastic Campers, including high level storage, kitchen/ utility unit with Spinflo Hotplate 2 burner hob & grill and Vitri C42L fridge, buddy seat with further storage, 2 x 240v sockets, LED downlights and new head lining
VEGE UK remanufactured engine installed in 2015 which has done less than 6, 000 miles to date (clock shows total of 56, 534 miles)
New Dormobile bellows fitted to pop-top in 2017 and in excellent condition
