Capots Vintage, specialist in sports and classic vehicles in Lyon, offers for sale a 1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce: We present this magnificent 1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce, an emblematic roadster by Pininfarina that epitomises Italian elegance. Launched in 1966 under the name 'Duetto', this model was distinguished by its elongated rear end, known as the 'Coda Longa' (long tail), as opposed to the more angular 'Coda Tronca' (truncated tail) versions. As attested by its Alfa Romeo certificate, our Italian was delivered new to the dealership in Paris on 18 October 1968. Matching Colors, it is presented in its elegant Bianco colour with upholstery in Skai Rosso (red). The engine is Matching Numbers, guaranteeing its authenticity. The carefully restored bodywork was redone in 2013, and a new soft-top cover was recently fitted. On the mechanical side, it benefited from a major overhaul in 2023, including replacement of the camshafts, valves and cylinder head gasket. More recently, a complete overhaul has been carried out, at no extra cost. It has a black alpaca soft top and a black soft top cover. Possible trade-in for your sports or classic car.
