Description
This 1968 example has been sourced from France and has been in the UK since 2013. A solid and complete car, which has retained much of its originality, it has seen an engine rebuild and over £8, 000 has been spent in the last 8 years.
We bought it originally in 2019 with a view to restore it completely however made the mistake of buying too many other cars, and not having enough time to focus on this as a Jaguar restoration took up most of my time.
The car is a matching numbers vehicle, our mechanic has confirmed this as he asked a Dino specialist a few years ago to check.
The engine runs smoothly and had a top-end rebuild around 2011 and a carb rebuild in 2015, the transmission also works and selects all gears smoothly.
The biggest job will probably be a break overhaul, though they do work to stop the car, a rehaul of the system is needed.
The interior also does need some work, however is still pleasant to be in while driving.
The bodywork is in good shape overall Id say, with most issues being cosmetic rather than structural.
You are welcome to come see the car for yourself, and any questions can be answered by me, or probably more arcuately and in depth by our mechanic.
Please message me on here if you cant get through to me via phone, as it has been playing up. Honestly the shape, with the flowing lines designed and executed expertly by Bertone, every time you catch a reflection of it while driving is a joy.
Meanwhile the sound of the Ferrari V6 will make you smile, completing the awesome experience.
Hoping you have more time to fully enjoy the car than we did
