Description
This is a very original right hand drive Karmann Ghia. It was delivered new on the 9th of August 1966 in Johannesburg South Africa. It comes with its owners manual and service booklet that goes back to the day it was delivered new. It comes with its original spare wheel, jack and tool roll.
The car has lived in the dry north of South Africa its whole life and as such is rust and accident free. The car was blown over in the early 90's in the original colour, however has never been restored. The interior is completely original and in very good condition. The dash is uncracked and the seats are good. All the glass and chrome are original and in good condition. The '66 comes with year specific wheel caps and trim rings which this car has aswell. The original cardboard front boot cover is in tact.
The car drives exceptionally well and is sold with MOT. The engine is clean and dry and has its original air cleaner.
There are precious few original rust free RHD Karmann Ghia's left in the world. This is great car for the collector/ driver
The door, bonnet and boot gaps are all good and as factory.
