Description
Open to swaps for other classic Mercedes models — ideally a W123 240D Automatic. If your car is valued higher, I'm happy to pay the difference.
This car drives like new and has been used almost daily. It’s incredibly comfortable with plenty of space, making it ideal for both city commutes and longer journeys. The cabin is impressively quiet thanks to excellent noise insulation, and the heating system works flawlessly—perfect for Irish or British winters.
It just passed the National Car Test (NCT) in Ireland with only one minor issue: a worn flexible rubber brake hose. The engine is in excellent condition—very clean inside, starts easily whether hot or cold, and never overheats.
One of the standout features is the rear multi-link suspension, which gives this model outstanding handling and a smooth ride.
With its superb mechanical condition, this car is ready to serve as a dependable daily driver for many years to come.

Parking brake holds well.
Central locking works perfectly from the driver’s door.
The clock has been removed from the instrument panel.
The resettable odometer is not functioning, but the main odometer works perfectly.
There are a few small cracks on the dashboard.
Some panels show signs of touch-up paintwork.
The car doesn’t need anything mechanically—just a replacement clock if desired. You're welcome to come and view it. I can raise the car slightly on axle stands so you can inspect the underbody yourself—there’s no rust and no leaks.
Upgraded Suspension – SLS Delete.
This S124 has been converted from the factory Self-Leveling Suspension (SLS) to a more conventional and reliable shock absorber setup. Here are the key benefits:
Improved Reliability: The complex SLS system is known for age-related leaks and expensive repairs. The new setup eliminates these concerns, offering peace of mind and lower maintenance costs.
Cost-Effective Maintenance: Standard shocks and springs are widely available and far more affordable to replace or service than SLS components.
Simplified System: With fewer hydraulic components, the suspension system is now easier to inspect, diagnose, and maintain.
No More Hydraulic Fluid Worries: No need to monitor or top up the special hydraulic fluid.
Weight Reduction: Removing the SLS components slightly reduces vehicle weight. WhatApp calls, videos, additional photos on request.
