Good Points
Just 87000 miles, full service history from new. All Mot certificates and many invoices. Over £7000 spent in last 5 years including new front subframe, front suspension top links, rear shock absorbers and springs, fuel pump, alternator, battery, belts and tensioners (less than 5, 000 miles ago). Brakes reconditioned as necessary. Good tyres on recently refurbed and powder coated wheels.
Drives and rides excellently with no squeaks or thumps. Engine, gearbox and clutch all work just as they should.
Body and interior very good. Everything works as it should except as listed below.
Soft cover and 4 spare wheels in v good condition included.
Oil and oil/ air filters service 500 miles ago.
Air Con. Just regassed.
Less Good Points
MOT fail on small rust patch on FOS chassis tube. Easy patch weld and fail only due to proximity of suspension pick up point. My MOT man says that the patch weld should cost about £75.
Mot fail on NSR trailing arm rust. New rear trailing arm is £327 at Alfashop or £160 on ebay.
Slight engine oil leak – front crank oil seal – about £30. Oil temp gauge not working
NSR caliper needs freeing off. Not noticeable when driving and does not overheat.
Fault reader shows no power supply/ poor earth to rear parking sensors. Recent fault – all four sensors themselves and control unit OK.
Radio works but needs a recode
Very slight graze on NSF front bumper.
At my advanced age I cannot tackle the work and need the space for a classic car.
So sadly it must go.
