Fantastic near-stock example of a Mk1 MX5 in classic red which are becomingly increasingly hard to find.

All the bodywork in good condition, including the sills which have no history of welding.
The interior is stock black with original cotton seats in great condition and a Momo steering wheel. The vehicle is fitted with an immobiliser and comes with two keys.
Vehicle roof is taken from the more substantial mk2. This means it comes with a rear heated windshield that you can connect if you wish. A few cracks are starting to appear on the edges of this, and I've tried my best to be diligent in picturing these.
I was in the process of upgrading electric windows + speakers. Drivers side has been done but passenger side still to do. I still have all the bits ready to go for anybody wishing to either finish the job or revert back to its stock condition with manual windows + ashtray centre console.
The car is currently fitted with a mini 'stubby' aerial at the back, however if you prefer the original stock chrome one, I have that for you to re-fit also.
Bought in 2021 from MX5 City, West Yorks.
The car has been well looked after by all its owners, and the car comes with a huge ring binder of documentation showing it's various services, and owners. For the nerds, there's even a receipt of the original purchase of the car in 1997 for £15k!
Only reason for sale is because I can no longer give it the attention it deserves. Drives and handles excellently!
This car and I have been on some wonderful trips together, at home both weaving down country lanes and cruising down a motorway. Admittedly, these cars are not the fastest you'll ever drive but take her roaring down a quiet road with the top down, and 50mph can be quite the experience. The manual steering truly makes handling every corner a real pleasure.
