This is a fully restored rebuilt reg July 1987 Yamaha rxs 100 5 speed box rescued from an orchard after sittìng there since 2000 ( see pictures ) restored to a high standard but no rivet counters please this bike is ment to be riden mechanical as good as a new bike. Most parts have been renewed or refurbished to a high standard . Athough i had to get the v5 in my name it only had 3 owners from new was told in same family from new and had only covered 25, 000 mile when found but 0 miles since rebuild . This bike was fully rebuilt new rims re spoked, brakes , bearings, tyres all balanced re, using the the old polished hubs, engine casings have been polished not painted , forks fully rebuilt and frame ( Full Matching numbers ) swing arm bottom bracket main stand and kick stand and rear brake all powder coated new springs on both stands and rubbers on main footrest new £1000s spent on this restoration. . The engine had a complete strip down and everthing was renewed as needed rebore new piston, rings, crank ect.
The engine , frame , wheels are as new as are the new sprocķets and Chain set
All cables are new Brake, Clutch , Throttle and tube. Speedo , Tacho . Muguards , front light switch , new ign switch and petrol cap new tyres, . Seat all new some after market parts have been used due to wanting to finish the bike . The bike has been built to be used and ridden not admired.
The bike is running fantastic and not even run in 0 miles after total rebuild inc fully rebuilt as orig 6v Stator and a new 6v orig type Acid Battery and fully rebuilt Carb new Exhaust silencer and front pipe and collar 2 new exhaust rings . I have hundreds of pictures of all this work carried out. To many new parts to list . The bike will require a mot .
Could put one on at cost But as all used bikes sold as seen . It is a learner legal bike and a genuine Yamaha rxs100 2 stroke bike not like the Chinese/ Indian copys around nowadays
There is no reason this bike wont be around in another 50yrs. This is fast becoming a rare bike and in this condition never found or seen anymore make a great daily ride or mancave talking point .
