Apologies to those 6 interested buyers who I have either ignored or put off viewing and to the 33 people who currently have my car saved in their favourites. Due to the sudden death of a close family member I have been somewhat preoccupiedMake no mistake this is a cracking usable MGB, you may find cheaper ones that’ll need welding or engine work soon. Or they’ll have rusty wheels and tatty seats. This has new stainless wheels and tyres, new seats, new carbs and an excellent engine.
It owes me £8200 and is insured for £8500 agreed valuation.
Briefly. Rebuilt about 3 years ago, bought by me unfinished. Has new stainless wire wheels and tyres, new exhaust and fee flow manifold, new su carbs, new electronic ignition, new leather seat covers. Reliable as a stick, runs well and rides smoothly. Lowered and polybushes suspension just recently fitted. No rust no rot.
Just completed a 90 minute drive, started first time after about 4 weeks inactivity, oil pressure 55psi at idle hot, uses no oil or water, produces no smoke.
Not a show winner but a good reliable drivers MGB. Time for me to move on to a new project that’s the only reason for sale. Loads of history and receipts as well as photos of rebuild.
