Description
I am selling this lovely example if a Sunbeam S8 due to having too many bikes and am now looking at buying a 2 stroke.
The bike is from 1951 and has been restored at some point over the last 15 years (although I am not exactly sure when) painted in the very nice metallic grey with ALL fasteners, spokes, spindles, etc being replaced with Stainless steel and the front brake upgraded to one off of a BSA Goldstar (I do have the original front wheel too if you wish to put it back to standard) with wheels fitted with one of the last sets of UK made Dunlops tyres. All lights have been upgraded to LEDs as well.
Also included in the sale are various manuals, technical drawings, and other paperwork, along with a very heavy duty cover made by a friend of mine who makes marine covers which has been custom made and measured for the bike.
There are a couple of marks in the paint on the front mudguard, but other than that the paint is pretty spot on. There are a few broken fins here and there as you would expect from a 75 year old motorcycle.
If you have any questions or would like to see any specific pictures, please feel free to get in touch.
Please note mileage may be different as I will continue to take this bike for short wekly runs as there is no better way to keep a machine functional.
Will consider swap or part-ex for a Scott or MZ ES250 Trophy.
