An iconic motor car and was very popular with many famous people , including Princess Anne who owned scimitar cars up to 2023. Fibreglass body so no rust. some blistering and paint splitting in some areas, which is a common problem with these cars and not noticeable until close up. I have tried to highlight these areas in pics.
Powered by a ford Essex V6 3. 0 engine which delivers great pulling . 4 speed manual with overdrive. The twin Weber could do with being refurbed
and can be temperamental. I am not well up on carbs and will not tamper with it (apart from cleaned the idle speed jets)
It comes with a box folder of history
and receipts for work completed with a list of all
previous owners. Also receipts for
engine rebuild in 2008. The mileage was zeroed hence the low miles and the previous owner at that time stored it for some 10 years. All the fuel
lines and water hoses renewed, as well as aluminium radiator fitted. ignition system replaced inc electronic dizzy.
New adjustable front coilovers fitted and bushes all good condition.
Stainless steel exhausts. Interior is very clean and receipts for all new
fitted carpets
. It is not a show car at the moment although has already had thousands spent on it. But is becoming very rare now. There is also 2 boxes of spares including head/ tail lights mirrors etc.
I have had c & c value at fair condition is £4450 and good condition and good is £7988. So I've priced it according to paint condition . But it will need some work to bring it to concourse standard hence the price.
