Description
Subject to a bodywork restoration in the 90's, the quality of the restoration still shows today with glass like paint finish and fully wax oiled body work. The hard top is available too.
The engine was professionally rebuilt in2016 by a classic car specialist with photographic details. It has subsequently been serviced by the same garage regularly since. The last service being May 25
It's been poly bushed all around and has a stainless exhaust, recent roof and seats re-foamed.
It also has the 4 speed ZF auto box conversion (with locking torque converter) by Tate and Lyle. This is a huge improvement over the standard Borg Warner 3 speed. With virtually unnoticeable shifts, lower rpm and cooler running, it really improves the car for modern traffic.
It runs the original cooling system except with a 12 vane water pump impeller with no problems. I originally bought this because of the quality the paintwork finish. It's garaged most of the year but used in the summer months. I've had the car for 10 years now and feel like having a different classic car.
