Porsche 911 SC Targa 1982 3. 0. Millage 106, 173
I have owned this car for 23 years and done very little millage, for the past 15 years it has not been used at all and has been garaged.
The car is registered and located in the Isle of Man, therefore will require collection.
The original registration number when new was NCF291X then a private number HIL8056 in the UK before imported into the IoM. The IoM registration number shown in the photos is not part of the sale, the car now has the Manx number RMN-760-X. It will require importing into the UK, with an MOT and new registration number.
Red in colour however the original colour was blue, it still has original blue dash top.
The car is in a running state, however, please consider a project car that needs complete recommissioning for it to pass an MOT and be road worthy.
Starts second time from cold, and better when hot. Drives nice when warm.
Some previous sill damage prior to my ownership where someone has jacked the car, this has also partially damaged an oil pipe however no leaks and oil flows ok.
Boot cable ceased in the open position, also heater cables seized and one broken at the exhaust end.
A few electrical gremlins such as fuel gauge and wipers work intermittently, electric seats partially stopped working. All lights indicators etc work brake level warning light always on.
Requires full set of carpets - The interior is from a more modern Porsche 997 with carbon seats, needs attention to make these more pleasing and the seats need the covers securing as pictured.
The engine state is unknown as it has been so long since I used this car, I have taken it for a drive in the past weeks, and drives nice and smooth when warm, gearbox is smooth also.
The brake callipers have just had all new pistons and seals so this could be safely test driven.
The Cis defiantly needs tuning and setting, it also has 6 new injectors fitted, and a new battery and starter motor.
The paintwork has plenty of imperfections however very good for the age of the car.
The wheels were overhauled just as I stopped using the car so in excellent condition however as you would notice not the original Fuchs also the tyres are old.
