Rover 416 SLi (R8); this is an excellent car and a modern classic. It's just received a year's MOT and had £700 spent with welding sorted out plus a new caliper and brake pads on the rear. I've been driving it daily it for the last 8 months and it has not had a single problem. It is fitted with the 1. 6 litre Honda engine variant and four speed automatic gearbox whichs runs well, though it occasionally slips very momentarily between 2nd and 3rd but this does not affect the driving. Incidentally, it is the best starting engine I've ever owned as it starts practically the instant the key is turned. The rare cream leather interior with walnut trim is a wonderful place to sit and it has the original cassette stereo which I have used and enjoyed as well as a fully working electric sunroof. There is some lacquer peeling on the car, and a dent on the boot lid which a previous owner has tried to knock out as well as the marks you'd expect of a car this age. The windscreen has a small crack but it is not an MOT issue.
All paperwork is present as well as two working keys and the original key code, also included are three spare wheel trims.
