Land Rover Series 2a Petrol
First registered in 1970 and in my ownership for the past 5 years and having undergone a rolling restoration and many adventures ‘Buddy’ is now ready for his next owner. There is a file of receipts and history but the main highlights include a galvanised chassis (previous owner), gearbox rebuild with Ashcroft high ratio gear set (1. 33 higher gearing on high ratio - much better for modern driving especially with free running front hubs fitted as well), conversion from pickup to soft top, re-spray in Keswick Green, new fuel tank, 5 x new wheels and tyres, electric fuel pump, re-built steering system, serviced weber carb and air filter (comes with original air filter), tow bar and electrics, rebuilt front swivels. Just serviced and checked over; steering, brakes, lights, electrics, new clutch fitted last year, engine tuned, bulkhead good. Not concourse but very well presented.
Overall a well looked after and lovely looking Landy that gets plenty of waves and smiles when out and about.
