Description
The vehicle is registered in the UK and has a valid V5C but is located in Lisbon, Portugal. I'm selling it because of the ridiculous import fees.
----------
I'm selling my 1997 Pajero Evolution, purchased in November 2021 from its original owner, who imported it from Japan to the UK in 1997.
The vehicle has had a single owner for 24 years. Its service history is complete since its importation. It has all the original features, including the Mitsubishi radio, and is finished in Satellite Silver Metallic.
A major service was completed by an independent mechanic last year. During this last service, both radiators were replaced and the brake discs were rebuilt.
The vehicle is entirely original and while it is in really good conditions, it has been on the road for the past 28 years. The chassis has the level of rust expected of a vehicle that has spent that much time in the UK, and the paint on the hood is damaged. Other than that, the car runs perfectly and smoothly.
It can be viewed there and can be collected from there too. I drove it down from London to Lisbon so it can be driven back up. Otherwise there are ways to transport it.
A chance to acquire one of the rare 'King of the Desert'. One of the last homologation specials which are still affordable.
As a reminder, the Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution won the Paris Dakar Rally a total of 12 times between 1985 and 2007, making it the most successful vehicle in the event's history. This included an unprecedented streak of seven consecutive victories from 2001 to 2007, sealing its dominance. The engine sounds amazing and the flared arches look amazing. I get thumbs up and honking horns every where I go. People love it. The car is also the star of the local club of Japanese Cars Enthusiasts. It has a strong presence. Cherry on the cake: you'll never loose it in a car park thanks to the fins on the roof.
