I have owned this for the past ten years, having a full bare-metal restoration in the first six months of ownership (photographic library to prove all work was done by a professional body shop). It looks way better than the images in person. Black interior with Nardi Steering wheel. All original, no cuts on the door cards.
Before myself, this was a one-owner car, purchased in 1976, UK.
It is a 100% genuine GT, unlike many wannabe GT Celicas (ST models with a GT badge on the grill). The V5 shows this as RA 28 GT with 18R-G engine (original).
It has, since I have owned the car, never been on a wet road, and never once used when the roads have been gritted. It stays in a garage and is only driven in good weather. It has a 'dry wash' from time to time and never seen a hosepipe or jet washed in my ownership.
This car handles very well, no issues at all, and runs fine on Super Unleaded. The engine sounds great, gears change smoothly, and steering and braking are both excellent.
It has won a number of classic car shows, and turns heads whenever it is on the road; lots of people want to ask questions about this 'Mustang' whenever I park somewhere.
I am not desperate to sell the car, and only letting it go due to other commitments that take up time which could instead be used to enjoy the car. For this reason, and the fact that this is a stunning car, I won't consider any offers below the listed price; please do not call if you intend to haggle.
The car is located in the South of England, and can be tested and inspected by anyone who is serious about buying.
I have the original GT steering wheel, and some rare spares. If you are serious about buying, I can send interior images and engine bay, upon request.
I have owned a number of these, and the TA 22 models, over the past few decades, and this GT has to be the best one by far; it's doubtful you'd find another one like this.
