Description

The classic Riley 9HP special with an Ulster Imp style body and the original engine and preselecta Wilson four speed gearbox.
The vendor has owned this car since 1967 and commissioned its rebuild in 2001 by Riley coachbuilder specialists, C. G. Jervis & Son of Bridgenorth, with a new chassis, springs, hangers, shackles and aluminium body finished in dark blue. New leather blue bucket seats were fitted, brakes renewed, the steering box overhauled and wiring loom replaced - all in all a complete makeover with over £25, 000 of expenditure.
V5 and original green log book are available. The car is MOT & Road Tax exempt.
A stylish fair weather car offering good fun for road use and rallies without the outlay of a genuine 'Brooklands' or 'Ulster Imp' period car.
