Description
Citroen 2 CV6 Special, registered 20-01-1987, underwent a full comprehensive nut and bolt restoration between June 2018 and March 2019 and has covered only 3260 miles since. The car, which is like new, has had summer use only and has always been garaged. MOT’d to 17/ 04/ 2026. For sale due tack of use and too many other interests!
The body shell was stripped completely, new panels fitted where required, including 4 new wings and vent flap, floor, bonnet, bulkhead, boot and doors. Body was seam sealed, etched primed and painted in Bleu Celeste, with matching new roof. The body was fitted to a new galvanised chassis with a reconditioned engine, gearbox and new clutch, axles, brakes, suspension and steering were stripped, cleaned and rebuilt with new parts where necessary. A complete interior was fitted, seats were reupholstered onto existing frames, with new door cards, carpet and sound insulation. A new loom and battery was fitted. The car was finished off with new wheels and tyres, a new grille, bumpers and exhaust system. To slightly modernise the car, electronic ignition and front disc brakes were fitted together with a digital period radio. Spare wheel, jack and brace plus winter grille and car cover are included. A new galvanised rolling chassis was fitted with a reconditioned engine and gearbox, All the axles, suspension and steering components were stripped, cleaned and rebuilt with new parts where necessary.

Re-upholstered seats
Windscreen and all glass rubbers
Gear lever and linkage
Carpet set, including boot carpet and rear parcel shelf
New dash and bonnet sound proofing
Interior trim, door locks, inner and outer window catches
New period radio converted to DAB with Usb connectivity
Plus many other new parts as needed
All in all probably as new a 2CV as you will find!
