For sale is my 2003 Renault Clio 172 Cup, finished in Mondial Blue which is an exclusive colour to the 172 Cup.
I have owned the car for almost 5 years, covering a few thousand joyous miles in that time. It has been absolutely faultless in my ownership and has given me some of the most fun I think I will ever have in a car.
The 172 Cup is, in my opinion, the pick of the 172/ 182 range. From factory, it came with thinner, lighter glass, lighter seats and less sound deadening than the standard model, as well as no A/ C, ABS or Traction Control, making for purest driving experience. The result of all this made for a 99kg weight loss over the standard car!
My car has covered 113k miles and has a part history with 8 documented services on record. It’s quite high on the owners with 10 former keepers, but the previous owner to me had owned it 3 times! It comes with 1 key, the original spare wheel, toolkit and all manuals. There is a large file of paperwork dating back to 2004. The car has an advisory free MOT until 12/ 25, is HPI clear and ULEZ compliant.

* N/ S driveshaft, OS/ F calliper & front ball joints @ 104k
* Leads & coils replaced @ 89k
* New exhaust gaskets

* Oil pressure switch
* Genuine rear number plate lamp
* New boot stops
* Hazard light switch
The Cambelt, Dephaser, Aux Belts & Water Pump were last replaced by The Clio Man at 104k miles 04/ 19
The car feels very fast for one of these and the engine is certainly healthy. The clutch and gearbox are also in great order.
Condition
This is a nice, tidy example of a 172 Cup. There are some minor age related marks as expected but all body panels are straight and the arches and fuel filler area are free from corrosion. The Speedline 2118 wheels have also been recently refurbished in anthracite.

I have throughly enjoyed owning this car and it will be very sad to see it go. These 172 Cups really are fantastic cars and values will only go one way.
