Description
Spectacular 1952 Bentley MK VI in mint condition, magnificent colour combination. The car was originally sold to Dr Frank Stabler of Newcastle (famous doctor). The 1952 MK VI (4560 engine, manual gearbox, twin carburettors and twin exhaust pipes) was to be bodied by James Young in the (Mc Neil) C10BM design in a version called 'Coupe' Saloon. Thirty MK VIs will be built in the C10BM design. The car was born with some special features: Bentley bumper in place of the James Young (with number plate holder inserted in the trunk), bonnet opening from the cockpit, petrol door opening from the cockpit, ashtrays on the James Young doors, sun visors with removable Plexiglas alletta, closed roof (sunroof was standard), high and modified dashboard. Completely restored in 2017 in bodywork (restored to its original colour as per initial order), leather, briar and chrome. The car appeared (in cream colour) in the Manetti Bros. film "Fear 3 D". The car has the original Bentley and James Young owner's handbook, and has the ASI gold plate approval (certificate of identity). The car can be viewed by appointment at our showroom.
