1972 Lancia 2000 Pininfarina Coupe. Genuine U. K. registered RHD car. 105, 000 miles.
I have owned this car for 2 years now, and it has provided excellent motoring. It has had a small fortune spent on it prior to, and during my ownership. There are bills for thousands of pounds spent predominantly on mechanical's. It presents really well and drives superb. The bodywork looks great, but on closer inspection there are a few areas where rust is now apparent, most notably at the bottom of the O/ S/ R wing and bubbling at the bottom/ front of the doors, please see photo's. There is also some discolouration, and paint lift on the bonnet and other age related blemishes. The interior is lovely, with only one door cap that would benefit from being re-veneered.
There is a genuine reason for selling the car. I don't have the use of a garage anymore and it is criminal to allow a car like this to be left out to the elements. Other commitments mean I'm not getting to use her as much as I would like. I took her out for a drive this morning, and she drove superb, although towards the end of the journey the indicators/ lights stopped working. Probably a fuse or loose wiring? I will try and sort.
Overall, it's a really good, honest car. I am selling it as ‘needs work’, but it is by no means a basket case. It looks and drives well and is a good usable classic. With a little bit of investment it could be taken to the next level as a show winning car and selling for three times the asking price.
I'm sure you know there are just a handful of these U. K. registered RHD cars left in existence. This is a great opportunity to make an investment for the future, and a bargain at the advertised price for a rare car that will certainly increase in value.
