Lotus Elan Sprint. A really nice car in great usable condition, not concours but very smart. The best driving example I have experienced. An original Sprint DHC not a replica. Everything works as it should. All switch gear etc is original.
Spyder space frame chassis, Sue Miller drive shafts and uprated twheels giving reliability and a much nicer driving experience.
An alternator that looks like the original Dynamo and a much improved battery. Only three recorded owners from new including me. As an engineer I have maintained this car for over 30 years and owned it for 5. It is a well sorted car that drives superbly and has great provenance. It comes with a new Everflex hood ( not fitted) several rare Lotus books, original workshop manual , owners hand book and even an original sales brochure. Loads of history, 3 sets of keys. Lots of rare spare parts. It was valued by Paul Matty Lotus specialists for £39, 000 in 2021.
This is a very reluctant sale and the new owner will be delighted with the car as I have always been.
