Description
Rover 2200 SC auto in Cameron Green.
Subject of a past nut and bolt, ground up restoration in '97, to include bare metal respray and new brightwork approximately 10K miles ago. Deep lustrous paintwork and very nice chrome that has been carefully maintained since. Good interior, cards, headlining, leather seats (one split seam). Original dash in very nice condition. Period radio.
Gearbox has had a tear-down and rebuild (old invoice available). Very clean engine bay, good engine with no untoward sounds.
Bodywork very good (small amount of corrosion at bottom of one door and that's it). Suspension mountings show no obvious corrosion, sills, floors, D-post and rear arches all good. Tidy boot area with spare wheel and cover.
Comprehensive collection of invoices detailing work carried out, past mot's up to recent mileage including £950 gearbox and torque converter rebuild. Rover P6 Owners' Club past assessment as 'Very good and Concours.
Very nice example of a P6, a car that attracts plenty of complimentary attention. A very nice, restored P6 with history.
