I am the owner of a 2cv since 20 year now. My parents had 2 or 3 them when I was a kid. I bought one myself in Oct 2006 in France , when I was visiting my aunt near Geneva. The car had one owner before . Its registration date was the 17/ 12/ 1984. It is officially a Citroen AZKA 2CV, Model number VF7AZKA00KA045110.
I drove the car back to my parents who kept it in their garage near Reims (51) when I was finding someone who would like to restore it . The car had been repainted with a different colour ( grey instead of a yellow) I have some pictures and has some metal protection on the back wings too . Also I wanted it to be restored and protected of the existing rust and having the floor done too. It took a good 2 years to be restored slowly week ends after week ends by a previous Citroen garage worker I knew. . During these 2 years , the car has been entirely stripped and dismantled as you can see on some pictures attached. The car was repainted wit the original yellow (I can find the number as I have a spare pot in the boot) , and spare lights as well. The lights, tyre , wheels, the capote have been changed too. I bought the parts in that shop , - details above. The carburetor is the same as initially , therefore you need to add some Lead as additive when you fill the thank with unleaded petrol
